Eight of us went out to lunch for a co-workers b-day on 8 Sept 05. We went to the West 14th Street Restaurant. It's a small restaurant. Upon our arrival there were two helium balloons tied down w/ a candy bar and a b-day card. What a nice surprise and no extra charge. Plus at the end of the meal the b-day girl received a complimentary piece of strawberry shortcake w/ a candle. The food is delicious there. They have a variety w/ standard and unique items on their menu. For instance I had the El Cubano. It's a spicy sandwich w/ shredded pork and ham. You will find appetizers, sandwiches, salads and complete meals. For those that can drink on their lunch hour they have a bar area w/ multiple kinds of beer.
