Rumor has it that the original Ruthie B's shop was housed in the location of a former bordello at the end of Springfield's historic Main Street! This past year the shop relocated to a sharp new store front -- it's still on Main Street, but in a more central spot.
The shop is cluttered and colorful. Lots of pretty little things to buy (or break.) Little girls with responsible behavior will enjoy a fancy tea party here. Bigger girls meet with their friends and gossip over a steaming cuppa tea.
The tea service is English-style, with Devon cream included! You can borrow a fancy hat (and a feather boa, if you'd like...), or bring your own. Soup, sandwiches and the traditional tea time treats are available -- and are tasty, too!
Ruthie B's offers theme teas throughout the year, including an Alice in Wonderland extravaganza. Reserve a spot for a landmark birthday or other special day. Or just wander the store to enjoy some window shopping, or buy a trinket to take home.
