This family owned and operated bakery in quaint down-town Whiting is a real treasure. Their donuts and cookies are great, and their are a lot of fans of their "atomic" cake, but oh! their cheese strudel-like concoction is something to write home about (if you aren't lucky enough to be a resident, and are just passing through, say, for Pierogi Fest.)
And their puchki (punchki? poonshky? pu... well, you get it,) are a great treat.
