The Mall at Green Hills is my favorite mall in Nashville. They have lots of interesting stores; Metropolitan Deluxe is the best one of those.
The store has an unusual mix of merchandise: beds, leather couches, armchairs, dressers and tables sit next to shower curtains, greeting cards and baby books. The common thread seems to be the coolness factor. Everything is hip and trendy.
It's the place to go for gifts; you can definitely find something for everybody here. Prices are not bad, and there's always a good clearance section to root through. I like the music they play, and I never get a hard sell; it's easy to browse around for a long time. In fact, the service is a little too laid back; employees seem more interested in talking to each other than in helping customers. That's my only complaint; otherwise the store is great.
