Woodland Mounds is a fairly new senior's building, for seniors age 62 and over. The apartments are lovely, each with their own washer and dryer. Some of the apartments have balconies plus there is a large balcony for everyone to share on the 4th floor. There are very small, efficiency apartments, two different size one bedroom, a few bedrooms with dens, and a few two bedroom apartments. The managers and the caretaker are all very friendly and nice. The front lobby is very nicely decorated with a fireplace and sofas to sit and visit. There is a large activity room where residents play cards, bingo, have coffee hour each week and pot lucks once a month. This is a very nice senior building. There is a waiting list, so it is good to go and apply before you are actually ready. I would highly recommend Woodland Mounds.
