I have to say that Panera Bread is one of my favorite places to stop if I want something quick and inexpensive, but don't feel like dining at a regular restaurant. Also, though there are some more indulgent items on the menu, I like that there are a lot of low calorie/low fat choices on the menu as well.
My favorites are the Asian Chicken Salad (healthy) and the broccoli cheese soup (not so healthy!). Another simple yet healthy and delicious choice is the smoked turkey sandwich, mentioned in the above post. Who knew a plain turkey sandwich would be so yummy!
All soups and salads come with bread too, which is nice if I just want a small lunch. I will just order a bowl of soup and get some bread with it, and it is only around $3. Not bad. Definitely convenient and I stop in often.
