Situated on the east side of the Willamette River with a peerless view of the Portland skyline and bridges, this is about what you'd expect in a city science museum. It features the city's only Omnimax dome theater, but it's generally not used for anything but science/nature films (i.e. it ignores more of the popular Omnimax titles shown in more mainstream Omnimax cinemas nationwide). Finally, as with all science museums, try to time your visit appropriately, otherwise you'll be amid throngs of screaming kids.
