Even people who hate Notre Dame admit that going to a football game in Notre Dame Stadium an impressive experience. This school and team are steeped in tradition, and this is apparent across campus for the entire day of the game. You can watch the marching band play on the steps of the architecture building, and then you can watch them lead the football team from the Basilica to the stadium. (The players attend Mass in the Basilica before the game. They wear suits.) Then you can enter the stadium after some last-minute tailgating and watch a great football team. Afterwards, attend Mass at one of the many post-game Masses across campus, and eat dinner at the Candlelight Dinner at either of the dining halls.
