I was aware of Mid Rivers Appliance as a used appliance store mostly because they sometimes put the appliances out near the street as advertising. I had not ventured into the store since all of our appliances were working ok.
Last fall our washer decided to stop working. After some disassembly we found the part that was broken. Because the washer was a Kenmore I contacted Sears about the part. The nearest parts location is in Fenton. They did have the part in stock but I would either have to drive to Fenton or pay shipping to get it.
Before placing the order my father suggested I contact a local appliance store and see if they had the replacement part since it was a fairly common part. I remembered Mid Rivers Appliance and gave them a call. The man who answered the phone was very helpful and friendly. He had the part in stock for less than Sears was charging and was right up the street from home.
The store is nice and clean with a great selection of used washers, dryers, fridges, stoves, etc.. If you are in need of a used appliance, a replacement part or a repair I stongly suggest you give Mid Rivers Appliance a call.
