Julia's is located next to Christmas Tree shop so it gets alot of traffic, but they still have some nice features of a small town bakery.
First, they have a great breakfast special of coffee or hot cocoa or tea (I think) and your choice of two doughnuts, a bagel, or certain pastries. They will butter the bagel or muffins on occasion, it depends how friendly a staff person you get. They also offer samples each day of a few of their breads and cakes. Their nice pastries and cakes that are about the size to bring if you are invited somewhere are beautiful - beautiful tarts and fruits and frostings decorate these cakes that look lovely as desserts you would be proud to serve to give.
The breads are very good - the rye is especially tasty and always fresh. The breads never taste stale which is impressive since they have several varieties available.
