My husband bought me a Bernina sewing machine at Philip's and I couldn't be more pleased with its quality. The machine will sew through anything and is completely reliable. Unfortunately I underestimated its power and sewed through my finger the first day. Our salesperson was very low-key and let the machines sell themselves. I like that. It was an expensive purchase and I didn't want to feel pushed into buying a model I didn't want. Since this purchase I have bought supplies at the shop and had an older non-Bernina machine repaired here. The repairs were done well, quickly and at a reasonable price. A good retail experience.
