Once considered just a place to take an injured wild bird or squirrel, this large wooded area has been transformed into a great educational nature center. A new walkway has been constructed to take visitors into the tree canopy. A marshy area and pond provide relaxing views. During the summer, there are plenty of shaded areas in which to take a break. Young children will probably enjoy this place best during one of the many educational workshops.
