El Tequila began in Faribault (a neighboring town) and saw enough of a market for a Mexican restaurant here in Northfield as well. I believe the residents of Northfield are thankful for the sister restaurant and enjoy the traditional Mexican food it provides. The ambiance is perhaps a bit too much if you don’t’ like bright colors and somewhat gaudy decorations, but the food is worth the visit and the prices are very reasonable.
