We have been going to Duck, NC, for years, and one of our usual haunts is the Blue Point Bar and Grill in downtown Duck. The food there is consistently superb, and the staff is attentive and freindly. Of particular note are their crab cakes, and their calamari salad. THe setting, overlooking the sound (which features a beautiful sunset nightly!), is perfect, too. The only "complaint" I have is that the Blue Point is well known, so book your reservations weeks in advance, especially during the summer.
