I have been to Dr. Gallagher’s office across from the Glen Burnie Mall and on Crain Highway near the Kmart. As I have said in other dentist reviews, I am diabetic and look for a dentist with some knowledge about diabetes care. During my last appointment there, the doctor asked if I was on any medication and I replied that I was on insulin and she asked if that was a pill. I do expect a dentist to at least know enough that insulin can only be given by injection. So I was already uncomfortable with the situation when after the exam she told me I need three cavities filled and was going to do it right away. After she left the room the hygienist pointed out that she hadn’t asked me if that was OK and if I needed to come back later and have it done that would be fine. I did leave and said I would come back, but never went back. I went to another dentist a few weeks later who said I didn’t need any fillings. So I’m very glad I didn’t let her do them that day.
