If you don’t feel like traveling hours to get to the beach, Sandy Point is a good compromise. The beach isn’t as smooth as at the ocean, and the sand is orange instead of the typical tan color, but the gorgeous views of the bay makes it feel like the beach. There is swimming, fishing, picnicking, and a boat launch available.
