Udipi is nestled in one of the many unfortunate looking strip malls along 161. If you're eating in, make sure it's a busy night; otherwise the waitstaff will line up against one wall and watch you dine, which is a little opressive. Tuesday night is not busy, in fact they are closed on Tuesdays, which I never remember until I'm there, craving my peas and cheese. The best option is to call ahead with an order, pick it up, and eat somewhere with better ambiance. The menu is all vegetarian and is the only place I've been able to find batura, which is that great big hot bread balloon, and it has to be eaten right away, so if you're taking out drive home fast.
