Chef John Toler, in his original restaurant, creates some of Raleigh's best and most exciting food. Appetizers are exciting such as a no bread BLT or a modernized gazpacho. From main courses which dazzle such as Portuguese style slow cooked pork or quail over hoppin' john, Toler is careful never to forget his Southern roots, no mater how creative, modern, and even European his fare. Desserts, especially his wonderful creme brulee are phenomenal.
