Rob Rivers became famous when he styled Julia Roberts hair for the movie "Mystic Pizza". Since then, he's opened a salon in Old Lyme, and a beautiful spa/salon in Mystic. His stylists are very tenured, and many have trained in New York salons. They are well versed in new trends and techniques, but also serve a large population of more mature clientèle.
In addition to hair services, they also offer massage, facials, waxing and nail services, in addition to makeup application and consultation.
The salon is elegantly decorated, with faux painted yellow walls and murals, large draperies and a marble floor. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable.
