Angelo has won a couple of awards from Charlottesville newspapers (the articles are proudly shown in the store window). The awards were given for good reason; the jewelry is certainly beautiful, but it is often too boring for my own tastes. Further, the pieces are often quite expensive, which continues to limit my interest in it. However, I know two couples who purchased engagement rings and wedding bands from Angelo, and they are all very happy with their decision.
