100 degees and my car has no A/C plus for the next week I will have little grandson staying with me. No way can I put him in a car without air. On to Meineke; my first call was to another auto care place and was told the minimum price to fix it would run $250.most likely more and they would need me to leave my car for a few hours, whatever a few might be.
Very discouraged I turned to my faithful computer and way much closer to home I found Meineke and called, BTW it was about 9:30am (this is important). The young lady answering the phone at the reception desk was so pleasant and a sense of humor,OK this is good! I explained the problem, she said bring it in and we will check it out. What time is good I ask, her reply "any time, we have a bunch of guys working so there is no wait." I will be there as soon as I put clothes on (no I was not naked, I was in pjs).
I got there at 10:30am (important also) as true to her word I did not have to wait, the car went into the service bay. After a few minutes the service person came in and said it could be one of two things wrong, and #1 needs to be checked and if that is not the problem then we go to #2. #1 problem is$160, #2 would be exactly $1,000.18.
He did the #1 work and the next thing I hear is you are all set, its blowing nice cold air, if you have a problem just bring it back and we will check it out.
Oh Happy Day!!@Meineke for me. The cost was before tax $160. I paid my bill and walked out the door at 11:35am (now you see why the times were important.
From first phone contact to repaired and happy, in just 2 hours. Plus I saved a minumum of $70.
I have found my new service guys. Needless to say I highly recommend Meineke to everyone. A very well run company, high standards across the board, customer service, efficiency, pride in their work, you can leave there without any worries, the job was done right.
