The library has a lot to offer children, especially pre-school aged. They offer story time, and always have a list of things going on at the library for the kids. You can stop by and pick up a monthly calander with a list of events taking place.
I like that when I was homeschooling my son, I could go into this library and on the wall would be a list of schools in the area, with a print out made up of a list of books appropriate for each of the grade levels.
I could go and make sure my son was reading at the same level if not even better than what the schools were demanding. I found this library to be an excellent source for both public and non public schools.
There are many computers. There is usually little wait if needed to use them. They will give you a timer and allow you so much time to use the computers. If no one is waiting you may check out more time. I like this so that i am not waiting a long time if i need to use one of the computers.
There are also computers to use for in the childrens sections, with nice programs for them to do. The library is a quiet place, and they are strict about this policy. If you want to use one of their rooms for one to one reading outloud, and they are open, it is a great place for that without disturbing anyone.
