We called Mr. Rooter on a Wednesday night at about 9:00 p.m., when we first noticed a broken pipe in our bathroom that was dripping water at a really fast pace. Water was flowing out of the pipe and soaking through the floor into the basement. The room in our finished basement that was directly below the leak was really wet, so wet in fact that we needed to have the room professionally cleaned the next day.
We tried Mr. Rooter because it has a full-page ad in the phone book that says, "Fast Service 24/7." To our surprise, Mr. Rooter was not able to get anyone out to help us that night, even though it advertises "fast" service 24 hours a day. In fact, Mr. Rooter said that it could not get anyone out until the late morning the next day, which is not what is advertised.
I would not try them if you have an emergency and need a plumber!
