The Brick Oven's motto is "Homestyle cooking when you can't be home cooking." But don't let that turn you down, this is the sort of bland meat and potatoes buffet place that usually accompanies the word homestyle. The Brick Oven is nestled right in downtown Boise, and it's one of the best lunch options for the money. They serve lots of great salads and sanwiches, and bake their own bread, which is fantastic. They've got a respectable beer and wine list too. Everyone should have their roast beef and mashed potatoes at least once. A great place for a quiet lunch getaway.
