This is my favorite restaurant. As the name implies, the restaurant has a Texas decor. When you walk in, you are usually seated right away. I may have had to wait 10 minutes the longest for all the times I visited. (as opposed to 1+hours at the Outback). When you first sit down, you are given a basket of nachos with salsa. Their menu has many selections to choose from, mostly BBQ. They boast home style cooking and it shows. You are given generous portions without the price tag of similar restaurants. There is a second restaurant in Port Jefferson for those further out east.
