They've always got beautiful pieces, and it's a pleasure just to walk around the store. They do lovely restoration work, and the shop smells pleasantly of furniture wax.
A trip to Black Cat is like going to an exclusive estate sale.
Their prices are generally pretty reasonable, and they have a "bargain basement" (literally!).
