One of the best hiking trails in Rhode Island! If you have a day and want to go hiking, I would recommend coming here. The trail is approximately 7 miles long and I would rate it as being moderately hard. Having done a lot of hiking, I feel that this trail was one of the most beautiful ones in Rhode Island. If you make it up to the Hanging Rock, the view is fantastic. Once I got there, I didn’t want to leave. The sanctuary also offers many other programs such as bird watching, kayaking, and whale watching trips.
