Victor's is one of the best places for coffee on the Eastside. The coffee is great, and the baristas always take the time to make a perfect espresso. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The mis-matched tables and chairs look like farmhouse antiques, and local artists are displayed on the walls. It's a good place to read a newspaper or meet a friend. Victor's also has a shelf with games, if you're in the mood to play checkers or Scrabble. It's the ideal neighborhood coffee house.
The bread pudding (warmed with whipped cream) and chocolate cake are definitely worth a try.
The cafe is open til 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights. There's live music in the evenings on weekends, and the place is usually packed then. My only complaint is that they aren't open later during the week.
