For the past two years, I have been a regular customer at BeautyFirst. The service is generally reliable (i.e. I get a good haircut) and friendly. I can usually schedule a haircut with only a week's notice. Many of the beauticians have appointments in the evenings so it's convenient to fit in a treatment after work. Weekends are always crowded and be sure to avoid the day of local high school dances! I made the mistake of scheduling an appt on prom day, and I waited for almost an hour past my scheduled appt and received a mediocre haircut ...
In addition to haircuts and other salon services, BeautyFirst has a large selection of beauty supplies. Some of the products are overpriced, though.
The salon is adjacent to the movie theater, so nearby parking is often hard to find but not a huge problem. (It's easiest to park in the Cost Plus parking lot and walk over.)
