Definitely the best restaurant I've found in Nashville so far. We went in for a casual lunch not knowing what to expect. The decor is themed, but almost too much so, like a Disney version of a "classy New Orleans restaurant." We felt a little out of place in our jeans and tshirts, but it was no big deal.
The waitress came out promptly and greeted us with the question, "Have you heard of our butters?" which almost made me laugh. But, their butter sampler was actually quite amazing (smoked alligator and strawberry butters, among others). The fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had, and the Trout Long Beach was also perfect. However, our dessert blew everything out of the water-- a huge slice of supernaturally-moist peach cake that can only be described as a "game-changer." Man.
Check this place out. You don't need to think about it, trust me. Just go.
