The produce here is fresh and cheap; we do most of our shopping here. It’s run by a handful of women who don’t seem terribly friendly, even though I’ve been going here several times a week for the past three years. It still maintains a neighborhood vibe, open to the street and in view of lots of Rockridge goings-ons. Although the aisles are a tad narrow, the checkout lines are never long (bye-bye Albertson’s), so it makes for a very convenient trip for dinner’s groceries.
