I like this spot. It's cozy. Downright small, really. The service is quick and the tuna is FRESH. In the literal sense and in the hip-hop sense. I think. Anyway, the sushi chef seems possibly a tad crazy. In a good way. Either that or he thinks all the guests speak Japanese and want to hear it LOUD. It's cool, though, because he rolls a mean tekka maki so I can't complain. And I do love the soba noodles. They come with tempura that is just right. The veggies are flavorful and the sauce tasty. The ambience of the restaurant is pretty hip. The shape is funky and the lighting makes for a lovely evening out.
