The service I received from Cook has been wonderfully pleasant and very polite. As with almost all funeral homes the emphasis is on making the bereaved comfortable. I can't help but sense, though, the rooms here are way stuffy and made to look like the average person's living room when the average person's living room never looks likes this. One service that surprised me is that for a $20 deposit, that's right only $20 which you get back, you can borrow up to 50 wooden folding chairs for any event you have. After making advance reservations all you have to do is pick up the chairs prior to the event and return the the next business day. This is a great community service.
