Sometimes it's hard to tell whether to have a television repaired or just buy a new one. I guess it depends on the set and how much it is worth. One day my Mitsubishi set suddenly lost it's picture leaving me with sound but only a horizontal line across the screen. Apparently this is quite common in many sets but I wasn't sure it would be worth repairing. After several quotes over the phone, I took it to G&C. Despite hundreds of televisions in their lobby alone, my set was fixed within 2 weeks and at a fraction of the price of the others quoted. This was one year ago & no problems with the set. more
