Formerly known as Nanoo's, Al's has an eclectic mix of music, games, even instruments (mostly guitars), stereo equipment and leather jackets. It feels very rock 'n' roll in that it's kinda dirty but appealing. It's also vaguely pawnshop-ish, in that people are frequently stopping buy to trade their stuff for cash. You can get lost in it, whether you're poring over the vinyl, gawking at the cassette tapes, choosing a bargain CD or picking out a bargain video tape for the kiddies. It's not necessarily the place to find the most current stuff the cheapest, but I have found some of my oddball favorites for a fair price.
