This is one of the most relaxing stores in the neighborhood. Stepping in to the gallery off of 14th St. feels like you're entering an oasis of calm, and, just maybe, if you buy one of the pieces on the wall you'll be able to take some of that calm home with you. Not that the work is itself boring or calm; the store just does a good job focusing you on the work, and not the crazyness outside. The art rotates pretty frequently (once a month, perhaps?) and is all contemporary, all the time.
