The St. Louis Art Museum (SLAM) uses its historic building looking out over Forest Park to showcase works of art by famous artists one would expect to see in the Louvre instead of St. Louis. The museum is free for the permanent collection and is therefore a must see for any art lover, or anybody who has a few minutes to spare while wandering through Forest Park.
