When my husband and I went to Sam Levitz to buy a new couch we were pleased with the couch we got and with the price, but it was not a pleasant shopping experience. Simply put, they have WAY to many sales people on the floor and not enough customers. It smells like desperation there. You can't walk in the door without 10 people trying to "help" you. Even if you are already working with a salesman, the other salesmen still stalk you around the floor. It is irritating.
The other annoyance is that if you buy something here, you usually have to go to the other warehouse to pick it up, which is at least a 30 minute drive.
