Good: The food and service were absolutely impeccable. The cocktail hour had many original selections and was displayed beautifully. My husband loved that you could hook your drink right onto your plate. The wait staff was superb and very accommodating. The best wedding that I have attended so far and I have had my share of black ties, weddings and special events. The desserts were never ending. We had mini cannoli cones, chocolate dipped fresh fruit, fried oreos, zeppolies, Ben & Jerry ice cream and much more.. Bad: I really cannot think of anything that I didn't like or was disappointed with. The food was so good that I wanted to try everything but I could't fit in another morsel. I should have asked for my main course to be wrapped to take home because I couldn't eat another bite but I was to embarrassed to ask. I would have liked if they had offered to wrap it for me because it really was to dilicious to waste. Word of advice "Were elastic". Improvements: The only thing that I would comment on is the decor. I really don't remember it that well but that would only suggest that it was not that impressive however it certainly wouldn't stop me from booking an event their. It was very clean and lovely. It just wasn't as trendy or elaborate as I would have liked but you can always bring an event coordinator in to help you with that. It was all just so amazing and I loved every minute of it.. Other: My husband, daughter and I attended a wedding there a year ago July and are still raving about it. My sister in law came in from Florida to attend a wedding there this past weekend and also raved about it. My daughter is 25 and has already informed us that she wants her wedding to be at Temple Avodah. Thanks to my friends for saving me a lot of leg work because that is diffenitly were will will go to book her wedding. I can only hope to be invited to another event so that I can experience all overit again..
