The Curious Grape is located in the Sherlington retail/restaurant pedestrian area on the same side as the Carlyle restaurant. They have daily free wine tastings, a good selection of cheese and chocolate, along with quality beers. They hold numerous in-store special free tastings where a vendor comes to sample a collection of five or so wines, and the store pairs them with small cheese samples! Not only that they partner with local Alexandria and Arlington restaurants to hold wine dinners a few times per year.
