Walking down Main Street a few weeks ago, I noticed a gift shop tucked in next to a shipping store. I decided to go in and peek around. I was greeted by own of the friendly owners, one of two sisters that decided to sell the wares of individual craftspeople. The selection boasted many original and top quality items. From home decor to wearable art, everything had handcrafted cast to it-- making every gift that you could select, personal and special. I was particularly taken with some brass hardware that was a refreshing change for the bigbox home improvement stores. Soft music and a burning candle added to the ambiance. This is a little treasure that I think too many people miss.
