This nature center, known as FENCE, is open to the public for free from dawn to dusk, and has five miles of hiking and horse trails, nature programs and sponsors Saturday hikes in conjunction with the Pacolet Nature Conservancy. Situated on 390 acres, FENCE also has show rings for horse trials, and practice areas and classes for those still learning to ride and jump. The Block House Steeplechase is held at FENCE each Spring.
