This local farmer’s market collective has been instrumental in bringing fresh, organic, and locally grown Cleveland residents who don’t go to the West Side Market. Customers can shop freely, knowing that anything they buy directly supports area farmers, chefs, and craftspersons. The Shaker Square market has recently been extended through December so customers can still enjoy the crafts, wool goods, and non-produce delights like pumpkin bread and handmade and hand-packed salsas. There’s a certain sense of kinship among the shopper and farmers that isn’t found many other places. Other locations include Lakewood, Parma, Olmsted Falls, and Crocker Park in Westlake.
