Talkies is located right near the West Side Market, So after shopping all day at the market, take a walk around the neighborhood and stop at Talkies. Great coffee and desserts. Sit outside on the sidewalk, or take in a classic film inside in the screening room. Evenings, the films are the main attraction, as Talkies screens great Hollywood classics.
I love bringing out of town guests here, either after exploring the market, or in the evening to do some people and film watching.
A really unique, independent coffee house - well worth a visit.
