Located on Thames Street within easy walking distance of the Newport waterfront, the Francis Malbone House is a great B&B in a city full of them. Built in 1760, Malbone features generously sized, beautifully furnished rooms, spectacular gardens and very elegant dining. As I say, Newport has many terriic B&Bs, but all around, especially for its in the thick of things location, Malbone bears looking into.
