Java House has a nice relaxed atmosphere and great coffee, Italian sodas, tea, and desserts. It has free wireless Internet service, free newspapers (NY Times, Chicago Tribune, DM Register, as well as local papers). For college students, Java house has tables and ample lighting to pull up a chair and get some work done while downing a little caffeine to stay awake. For those who just want to chill, there are a couple of couches and some outdoor seating to just chill.
Also, desserts are half price after 8 PM.
