Soulard Farmers Market is a great place to get your groceries. It is indoors. It is open Wed. through Sat. The food is grown by local farmers. There is also a butcher and a spice shop where you can find fresh herbs and spices from all over the world. There are all types of people that shop there. It is so diverse. The food is great and fresh and at least 50% less thatn the supermarket. There are also vendors that sell non food items such as jewelry and clothing. It can be hard to find parking . The surrounding streets almost always have a empty spot to park. You might want to take a cart or stroller as there are no shopping carts and it can get really heavy. It's a great place. Highly recommeded.
