Old New Orleans institution on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter that's favorite haunt of the City's blue blood and is known for its traditional haute Creole cuisine. If you're looking for Old World Creole cuisine, this is my pick. The food is great and the people-watching is unbeatable. Friday afternoons are a bacchanalian delight. My recommendations are the double fried potatoes, fried eggplant sticks, Oysters Rockerfeller, shrimp remoulade, trout or pompano menuire or sautéed soft shell.
NOTE: Men are required to wear jackets to dinner.
