The Old Exchange on East Bay has been at the same location since 1680. The very early settlers used to hold court there and even kept prisoners there! During the Revolution, it was converted into a British Prison.In the 1960's part of the original seawall of Charleston was found there. It's a simply fascinating place to tour and very resonably priced. Children get a break on the prices.
