Dr. Jotte was my MIL's Primary Care Physician and when she started having problems using her hand, she went to find out what was wrong.
He gave her a Diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel without running any tests and after she pushed for them, he sent her for a Nerve Conduction Test.
The Doctor there advised that it wasn't Carpal Tunnel, but looked like a serious neurological disorder and ordered immediate MRI and other scans.
Dr. Jotte's office called and left a message on her ANSWERING MACHINE that she had Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. This is a fatal condition and he left a message on her answering machine!
We are appalled at the disregard his office and he indirectly, showed towards her.
She immediately called and asked for her medical records be transferred to a different doctor.
